A neighbourhood-inspired mural celebrating Bukit Merah’s landmarks, memories, wildlife and sense of belonging.

Created with Singapore Pools, the mural at Hub With A Heart @ Bukit Merah brings the neighbourhood’s character into a calm and playful visual landscape. Co-created by Shaping Hearts artist Leong Si Jun, also known as Sijun, with visual artists Eunice and Hui Wen, the mural features references to Bukit Merah, Tiong Bahru and Mount Faber, including playgrounds, cable cars, architecture and local wildlife. Through peacocks, civets and a free singing bird, the artwork evokes memory, openness and belonging, turning a community space into a gentle tribute to everyday neighbourhood life.
