Conceptualised by Foo Hui Wen in collaboration with Shaping Hearts artist Ashley Ang, Edible Terrains transforms Tampines Changkat’s community care initiatives into a warm visual story of giving. Inspired by programmes such as Joy Box, Sunrise Smiles, grocery distributions and community fridges, the mural uses familiar food and household motifs to reflect the everyday ways residents support one another. Oversized vegetables, canned goods, gift boxes and a glowing egg yolk become symbols of nourishment, festive care and neighbourliness, turning the community club into a shared canvas that celebrates generosity, belonging and the creative voices of persons with disabilities.
