About APSN

Katong School (KS) is the first school established by the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) and opened its doors to 110 students at Arthur Road in 1979.  After its relocation in 1991 to La Salle Road, KS moved to the present location in 2007. 

KS is the only full school under APSN Education Services Ltd. (AESL) which offers programmes to students at both the primary (7 – 12 years old) and secondary (13-16 years old) levels. As at March 2023, KS serves a total of 288 students with mild intellectual disability (MID – IQ 50-70) as well as students with comorbidities of mild to moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
